Description:
Pale yellow or olive liquid with a strong, sweet, floral-rosy odor.
Method of Extraction:
From fresh or dried grass of Cymbopogon martinii by steam distillation.

Other Uses:
Benefits the nervous system and useful in treatment of stress-related conditions such as headache, insomnia and nervous tension. Useful in treatment of skin problems such as acne, dermatitis, oily skin, scabies and skin infections. Valuable in skin care and considered very effective skin moisturizer and rejuvenator and tissue toner. Useful in the treatment of circulation, muscles and joints complications and relieves arthritis, inflamed joints, muscular pains, rheumatism and sprains. Benefits the digestive system and useful in the treatment of anorexia and intestinal infections. Useful with respiratory infections such as sore throats, laryngitis and fever. Prevents the spreading of infectious diseases.

Extensively used as fragrance component in soaps, detergents, cosmetics and perfumes, toothpastes, and industrial fragrances.
